Itinerary of 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga :

Day 1: Fes to Ifran, Cedar forest, Midelt, Ziz valley and Merzouga desert

Our 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga starts from Fes city where we will pick up you from your accommodation then head to the southeastern of Morocco, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop in Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco. After that we drive to Cedar forest near Azrou, where you will see barbarian apes. 
Next we take the road towards the capital of apple, Midelt, where we will have lunch, then continue driving via Ziz valley and Tafilalt Oasis. Then arrive at Merzouga village, where your will ride camels with a local camel man. you will have the chance to enjoy the golden sunset from a high dune. After some rest and dinner in the camp in a calm place and starry night. later on you will gather around the fire and enjoy locals playing drums and dance around the campfire. 
Overnight in your camp.
 

Day 2: Merzouga desert towards Rissani, Erfoud and Fes

 This day of our 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga starts early morning to catch up the impressive sunrise from a high dune. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga behind and go to Rissani (Sijlmassa before) we will walk inside its traditional markets (souk). Later on we drive crossing by Erfoud city, capital of dates, then cross the palm trees grove, and enjoy the way surrounded by old buildings and Kasbahs. We head to our final destination Fes city exactly in your accommodation (airport, hotel, riad…).  
End of our 2 days tour.
