Itinerary of 3 days desert tour from Marrakech :

Day 1: Marrakech to the Atlas mountains, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and Dades gorges

This journey of 3 days desert tour from Marrakech  starts in the early morning from Marrakech in where we pick up you. we take the road through Tizi nTichka pass, a pass of 2260m in its altitude. In which you will have a stop to gratify the panoramic landscapes and the beauty of High Atlas mountains. The way will be surrounded by old Berber villages which increase the aesthetics of the road. 

We arrive to Kabah Ait Benhaddou, which is listed as UNESCO heritage site, Where many movies and series were filmed. We enter  the kasbah to discover the beauty and shapeliness of Moroccan architecture. After finishing our visit to this historical site, we have lunch in Ouarzazte city and we continue our 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Dades gorges through Skoura, and Kela’at M’gouna, which is more known by valley of roses. Then, we drive to Boumalen Dades, where you will spend your night in a hotel/riad with a panoramic view.

Day 2: Dades gorges towards Todgha gorge, Ziz valley, and Merzouga desert

This second day of the 3 days desert tour from Marrakech starts with a yummy breakfast, we take our way passing by Tinghir then go to Toudgha gorge, having a walk in the highest gorges in Morocco about 300m high. After having lunch, we head to Merzouga crossing by Erfoud, the city of fossils and dates. Then, we arrive to Merzouga village, where you will have a night in a camp in the heart of the desert, we get there and be ready for our camel ride with a local camel man or a 4×4 vehicle for those who don’t want a camel ride. 

On our way to the camp we will stop inside the dunes of Erg Chebbi to enjoy the shinning sunset and the golden sand, then we go to the camp, where you will be welcomed with a cup of tea. The magic night of this 3 days desert tour starts with a yummy dinner, next the locals start to play drums and tell stories around the campfire. And you will enjoy the calm of the place.

Day 3: Merzouga desert towards Rissani, Agdez, Ouarzazate and Marrakech

We wake up you early to catch up the sunrise, then come back to the camp to have breakfast and take a shower. We ride back our camels or 4×4 vehicle to our transportation to take the road to Rissani, which is known as Sijlmassa. We discover its tradional markets, then we drive to Marrakech crossing Agedz valley, Tazarin, and Ouarzazate, where we will have lunch and head to Marrakech. Our final stop will be in the evening in your accommodation in Marrakech (airport, hotel, riad…).  Our 3 days desert tour from Marrakech ends.
