Itinerary of 3 days Desert tour from Agadir:

Day 1: Agadir – Taliouine – Agdez – Zagora

We start our 3 days desert tour from Agadir in the morning to travel southeast. Taliouine, which is known as the town of saffron, will be our first stop. After stopping at a co-operative, that cultivates the spices, you will see the traditional spices and have an explanation about them. We will continue to Agdez, where we will have lunch. 

We will also stop by Tamnougalte Village, the Southeast’s oldest Kasbah to see incredible performances and take pictures. Our next stop as we travel 151 kilometers toward Zagora will be the Valley of Draa, the largest palm grove in Africa, around 1200 kilometers. Then we go overnight in a charming hotel or Riad as will be our home for the night in Zagora. 

Day 2: Zagora – M’hamid – Erg Chegaga

We will make the Quranic Library our first stop after breakfast. We will continue on our holiday adventure to M’hamid where we will have lunch after admiring the vast desert vistas. Furthermore, we will travel to the Chegaga desert, the tallest dune in all of Morocco (300 meters long and more than 40 kilometers long), where you will ride your camels and cross the dunes with your local camel man. As you will watch the sunset over the tan dunes on your way to the camp. 

You will have a moment to enjoy this golden sundown then you keep going to your Berber camp. Once you arrive at the camp in the heart of the Sahara you will have time to relax and shower before a traditional dinner. After you will listen to both the Saharan songs and Drums music played by the locals. After the party, you can enjoy the silence of the desert and the starry night. The customary nomadic tent will serve as your bed for the night.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga – Taznakht – Taroudante – Agadir

Our last day of 3 days desert tour from Agadir will start with a local breakfast after enjoying the stunning sunrise. Next, we will be returning to the distinctive Atlantic City of Agadir, we will travel today through Iriqui’s dry meadows and the old Paris Dakar track to Foum Zguid. We will also have a short break to eat a Berber dish for lunch in Taznakht along the way. The sights we pass on the way to Agadir in our car will also be interesting and draw your attention. The arrival is in the late afternoon.
