Day 1: Tangier → Tetouan → Chefchaouen

Upon arrival in Tangier, you will be met by your guide at the port or airport. You will then commence your journey to Chefchaouen, proceeding through the scenic Rif Mountains. After checking into your Riad or Hotel, the remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the city’s blue and white medina independently.

Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes

A day of history awaits as we travel towards Fez. Our first stop is Volubilis, where you’ll walk among the remarkably preserved ruins of an ancient Roman city. Next, we delve into the imperial grandeur of Meknes, exploring its monumental gates and historic walls before continuing to the cultural capital, Fez, for the night.

Day 3: Guided tour of Fes

Prepare to be mesmerized as a local guide leads you through the world’s most vibrant living medina. You’ll navigate a labyrinth of narrow alleyways, alive with the scent of aromatic spices and the sight of handcrafted treasures. The tour will reveal the secrets of the Royal Palace, the ancient tanneries, and the city’s renowned potteries, with a break for lunch at an authentic local restaurant.

Day 4: Fez → Azrou cedar forest → Merzouga

An epic travel day takes you south, crossing the diverse landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll journey through immense cedar forests—home to playful Barbary apes—and traverse vast plains dotted with Berber villages. After a lunch stop in Midelt, we’ll descend through the spectacular Ziz Valley, watching the scenery transform into a desert panorama. Upon reaching Merzouga, your camel caravan awaits to carry you into the dunes for a breathtaking sunset, followed by dinner and a magical night in a desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert Exploration

Awaken to the serene beauty of the Sahara. Today is dedicated to exploring the desert’s wonders, from the lush oases of Merzouga to the ancestral lands of nomadic Berbers. We will visit the village of Khamlia to experience the soul-stirring rhythms of Gnaoua music before riding our camels to a secluded spot in the dunes for another spectacular sunset and an overnight stay in traditional nomad tents.

Day 6: Merzouga → Rissani → Dades Valley

After greeting the desert sunrise, we return to our hotel for a refreshing shower and breakfast. Our journey continues to the bustling market of Rissani, a historic trading hub. From there, we head to the magnificent Todra Gorges, where you can walk alongside the crystal-clear river flowing between towering canyon walls. Our day concludes in the beautiful Dades Valley, where we’ll spend the night in a charming local riad.

Day 7: Dades valley → Ouarzazate

After breakfast, your day unfolds as a journey along the legendary “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.” This breathtaking route through the Dades Valley offers a tapestry of sights, from dramatic rock formations to the chance for a unique encounter with Berber nomads in their traditional cave dwellings. We’ll travel through the fragrant Valley of Roses, stopping in Kalaat M’gouna, where the air is scented with its famous rose water. Your path then leads to the magnificent Kasbah Amridil in the Skoura oasis before concluding in Ouarzazate, the cinematic “Hollywood of Africa,” where you’ll settle into your Riad or hotel for the night.

Day 8: Ouarzazate → Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech

Today you will continue your journey to Marrakech, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. You will make a short stop to visit or photograph the famous film studios of Ouarzazate. On the way to Marrakech, you will visit the ancient Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, you will continue to Marrakech, passing through the highest road pass in North Africa, offering unforgettable panoramic views. You will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.

Day 9: Guided tour of Marrakech

Prepare to be enchanted as your private guide leads you on an immersive journey into the heart of the “Red City.” Your day begins with an exploration of Marrakech’s historical jewels, from the iconic Koutoubia Mosque and the hidden splendor of the Saadian Tombs to the opulent chambers of the El Bahia Palace. You’ll then plunge into the vibrant, sensory spectacle of Djemaa el Fna square and navigate the labyrinthine alleyways of its bustling souk. Day 10: Transfer to the airport
