Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas Mountains → Kasbah Amridil  → Dades Gorges

Our 4-day desert tour from Marrakech adventure starts by picking you up from your accommodation in Marrakech. We will begin our journey by crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, navigating the winding Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along this scenic route, you will pauses at key panoramic viewpoints, offering  opportunities for photos and to simply enjoy the mountain sceneries.

You will have a stop Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. We will visit the Atlas Studios, the biggest movie studios in Africa. Inside tour of the Studios is optional. 

After lunch we continue toward the Dades Gorges via Skoura oasis where  you will have the chance to explore the magnificent Amridil Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most authentic fortified villages. After that we will pass by Roses valley in Kelaat Megouna.

Once we start driving through the Dades Gorges, you will be impressed by its dramatic landscapes, including the rock formations called as ‘Monkey Fingers’  and the stunning panoramic  of the Zigzag road. Our final destination in a traditional Riad for overnight and dinner.

Day 2: Dades Gorges  →Todra Gorges  → Merzouga Desert

After a tasty breakfast at the Riad, we starts our 4 days deset tour from Marrakech driving toward Tinghir, admiring the lush palm groves and traditional Berber villages that line the Todra river. This path leads us to the amazing Todra Gorge. Where you will enjoy a morning walk beside the river. 

As we continue toward the Sahara desert, we offer an optional stop to discover traditional Berber items. It’s a fun opportunity to try the Berber outfit and take some memorable photos. 

Upon arriving at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, you will ride your camels to across the golden sands into the heart of the desert. You will pause to witness a spectacular sunset from a high dune, before arriving at your luxury desert camp for a magical evening with a tradional dinner and Berber drums. Do not miss the chance to enjoy the starry night of the desert.

Day 3: Merzouga → Rissani  →  Agdez  → Ouarzazate

An early start today is recommended to enjoy a stunning sunrise beside your camp. After enjoying breakfast at the camp, you will return to the town of Merzouga with a choice of a final camel trek or a comfortable 4×4 transfer.

Our journey then takes us to the city of Rissani, the ancient cradle of Morocco’s ruling dynasty and a historic crossroads for Saharan trade caravans. If your visit falls on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, we will explore its bustling and authentic traditional souk. Where the locals sell their items including goats, vegetables and fruits. 

From Rissani, we travel onward through the stunning Draa Valley, following the river of palms through Agdez. This beautiful route leads us to Ouarzazate, where we will arrive in the afternoon and check into our accommodation for overnight and dinner. 

Day 4: Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah →  Telouet Kasbah → Marrakech

Our final day of the 4-day desert tour from Marrakech begins with a tasty breakfast at the Riad. Then we explore the historical Taourirt Kasbah, a prime example of local earthen architecture.

Our journey continues to the historical Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. We will explore this ancient ksar, whose timeless beauty has served as a filming location for iconic productions like Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones.

Finally, we begin our return to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains one last time. The drive offers a different perspective on the stunning landscapes and charming Berber villages. Along the way, we will make a final rewarding stop to admire the historic Kasbah of Telouet. Our journey concludes as we arrive back in Marrakech, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation, completing your unforgettable 4 days desert tour from Marrakech.
