Day 1: Agadir → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Boumalane

Your desert expedition unfolds with an early morning departure from Agadir. Your first major stop is Taliouine, the heart of Morocco’s saffron country, where you’ll immerse yourself in the world of this precious spice at a local cooperative and sample its unique flavor in a cup of tea. The route continues through groves of native Argan trees before arriving in Taznakhte, a Berber village celebrated for its beautifully handcrafted carpets.

Day 2: Dades Boumalane → Todgha Canyon → Merzouga Desert

Your journey continues through the vast, open landscapes of Alnif and the Tazarine Oasis, skirting the edge of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. You’ll soon arrive in Zagora, a tranquil desert town renowned for its immense palm grove of over 100,000 trees, where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel or riad.


Day 4: Zagora → Agdez → Taroudante → Agadir

Your final day is a journey of dramatic scenery as you make your way back to Agadir. The route first winds through the picturesque Draa Valley, with a stop in the town of Agdez to take in breathtaking panoramic views. Next, you will ascend and cross the rugged Anti-Atlas Mountains via the Ait Saoun Pass, a drive of stunning mountain vistas.     How do I get to and from the desert camp?

    Your private driver will take you to the desert area, where you will meet the camel team or take a 4×4 transfer to the camp crossing the dunes with a stop a long the way to enjoy a breathtaking sunset.

    The following day, you will have again two included options for the way back, either camels or Jeep. Also you have alternative options with extra charge which are Atv quads or Dune buggy.

    What is the plan once we get to the desert camp?

    After enjoying the camel ride or 4×4 and the sunset over the dunes, You will check into your tent, have dinner, and spending the evening around the bonfire with traditional music played by the local under starry skies.

    The following morning, you can watch the sunrise from the nearby dunes to the camp, have breakfast, and then leave the camp by camel ride or Jeep to continue your Morocco tour.
