Your excursion to the magnificent Ouzoud Falls commences at 8:30 am with a prompt pick-up from your Marrakech hotel or a designated meeting point near your riad. You will travel in a modern, air-conditioned minibus with a small group (maximum 17 guests) on a scenic three-hour journey northward, traversing the fertile Tadla plains, a landscape rich with olive, peach, and apricot groves.
Upon arrival, you may choose to engage a local guide for a nominal fee (approximately 3 euros) to lead you on a captivating walk down to the springs. This path offers progressively stunning views of the 110-meter Ouzoud waterfalls, which are frequently graced by a shimmering, permanent rainbow. Along the trail, you’ll have the chance to observe the area’s famous inhabitants, the playful Barbary apes.
Enjoy a relaxing interlude for lunch at one of the delightful cafés situated by the stream before making your ascent back to the village. Your driver will then begin the return journey to Marrakech, concluding your memorable day trip between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm (subject to traffic and seasonal variations), with a drop-off at your original departure point.
