Your first stop is the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, a testament to exquisite craftsmanship, featuring stunning tilework and carved marble set against a panoramic Atlantic backdrop. Marvel at its minaret, the second tallest in the world, for a truly impressive start to your trip.

Following our visit, our path leads to Rabat, the nation’s capital. Here, we will delve into the city’s historical treasures, including the iconic Hassan Tower and the charming Oudayas Kasbah. The day concludes as we ensure you are comfortably settled into your Rabat accommodation to rest and prepare for the days ahead. For those with late-night arrivals, a restful night in a Casablanca hotel will be arranged before the tour commences the next morning.

Day 2: Rabat → Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we’ll drive approximately four hours north into the scenic Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. The journey itself offers beautiful views of rolling hills and rural villages.

Upon arrival, you’ll check into your riad. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore. Get lost in the city’s iconic blue-washed medina, browse the artisan souks for unique crafts, or relax at a café in the main square. This is your chance to soak in the tranquil atmosphere of one of Morocco’s most picturesque towns.

Day 3:Chefchaouen Volubilis Meknes Fes

After a pleasant breakfast at the riad, our journey continues southward, winding through the beautiful Rif villages and the lush Moroccan countryside. Our first major stop is Volubilis, where you can step back in time at the impressive, well-preserved ruins of a once-prosperous Roman city.

Wander among ancient mosaics and grand structures from the 3rd century, imagining life in the Roman Empire. From there, we proceed to Meknes, an imperial city that served as Morocco’s capital in the 17th century.

After lunch, we will tour the Medina, the historic walled old town, which is home to the monumental Bab el Mansour gate. We’ll admire its intricate details and also visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the sultan who made Meknes his capital. The final leg of our journey takes us to Fes, where a beautiful Riad and a relaxing evening await.

Day 4: Guided tour of Fes

Prepare for a deep dive into Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital with a full-day guided tour of Fes. With an expert local guide leading the way, you will uncover the rich history and hidden gems of this imperial city.

Your tour begins at the grand Royal Palace gate. From there, you’ll navigate the sprawling, maze-like medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit foundational landmarks like Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Al-Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the famous Chouara Tanneries, all featuring stunning architecture.

We will also explore the Mellah, the city’s former Jewish quarter, to learn about the history of its community. The day culminates with a visit to a historic fortress for a breathtaking panoramic view over the entire city of Fes before we return you to your Riad.

Day 5: Fes Ifrane Middle Atlas Mountains Ziz Valley Merzouga

Following a hearty breakfast in Fes, we begin our drive toward the Sahara Desert. Our journey south starts with a stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” We’ll then travel through a cedar forest in the Middle Atlas Mountains, home to troops of Barbary macaques. After a lunch break, our route continues through the stunning Ziz Valley, a vast oasis dotted with countless palm trees.

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at the edge of the desert to begin an unforgettable camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. We’ll pause along the way for you to climb a high dune and watch a spectacular desert sunset. Upon arriving at your luxury desert camp, you’ll be shown to your private tent. A delicious dinner will be served, followed by an evening of traditional Berber music and drumming around a campfire under a blanket of stars.

Day 6: Exploration day of the Merzouga desert

Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, you can choose between a camel ride or a 4×4 transfer back to Merzouga to begin our day of desert exploration.

Our first stop is the village of Khamlia, famous for its soulful Gnawa music. You’ll be treated to a performance by local musicians, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural traditions of the region.

Next, we venture off-road to M’Fis, a deserted village known for its historic Galena mines. We’ll explore the ruins and learn about the area’s mining past. Afterward, we will visit a nomadic family living near the dunes, where you’ll be welcomed with tea inside a traditional Berber tent and learn about their way of life.

Following lunch, we’ll transfer you to a beautiful riad where you can relax by the pool. In the late afternoon, you have the option of a thrilling quad bike or buggy adventure for more sunset views, or simply taking a peaceful walk to the nearby dunes. Dinner and a restful night at your riad conclude the day.

Day 7: Merzouga desert Rissani Todra Gorge Dades Gorge

Start your day with breakfast at the riad before we set off on a scenic drive to the Dades Gorge.

On our way, we’ll visit the traditional market in Rissani, which is especially vibrant on its market days (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday). Take a walk through its bustling alleys to experience the local sights, sounds, and smells.

Our journey then leads us to the magnificent Todra Gorge. Here, you can take your time to walk and admire this natural wonder, where the Todra River has carved a deep canyon through towering cliffs.

Continuing toward the Dades Gorge, you’ll witness a curious rock formation known as the “monkey fingers.” Our drive through the Dades Valley offers continuous panoramic views of rugged landscapes and green oases. You’ll end the day at your hotel, a peaceful retreat where you can relax and recharge for tomorrow’s adventures.

Day 8: Dades Gorge Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou High Atlas Mountains →  Marrakech

Today’s drive takes us first to Ouarzazate, known as both the “Gateway to the Desert” and the “Hollywood of Africa.” Here, you can visit Atlas Studios, one of the largest film studios in the world, and see sets from famous movies and series.

Our adventure continues to the legendary Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll recognize its ancient kasbahs from films like Gladiator and the TV series Game of Thrones.

After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, our route ascends into the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass and offering stunning views. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon. After checking into your riad, feel free to take an evening walk to the famous Jemaa El-Fna square to soak in its electric atmosphere.

Day 9: Guided tour of Marrakech

After breakfast at your Riad, you’ll meet our friendly local guide for a comprehensive tour of Marrakech. Your guide will share stories and insights as you visit iconic landmarks like the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Ben Youssef Madrassa.

Following lunch, you’ll have a choice: dive into the botanical beauty of the Majorelle Garden or return to your riad for some quiet relaxation.

Later in the afternoon, we suggest heading back to the Jemaa El-Fna square. Find a spot on a rooftop terrace, enjoy a drink, and watch as the square comes alive below while the sun sets over the city. You can enjoy dinner here before returning to your riad for the night.
