Your 2-day desert adventure begins with a personal pickup from Moulay Ali Cherif Airport or your accommodation in Errachidia. Your journey south starts with a scenic drive along the magnificent Ziz Valley, where we will pause at a panoramic viewpoint for you to capture stunning photographs of the vast palm oasis. We will then continue our route toward the Sahara via Erfoud, a town renowned for its rich fossil deposits. Upon arrival in Merzouga, your camel caravan will be waiting. You’ll embark on a magical 30-minute trek across the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes to reach your desert camp, where you will spend a memorable night enjoying local hospitality under a breathtaking canopy of stars.
Awaken to the serene beauty of the desert and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the camp before riding your camel back to Merzouga town. From there, your exploration of the region begins in earnest with a thrilling 4×4 tour. We will venture off-road to visit a nomadic family living near the Algerian border, offering a unique glimpse into their traditional way of life. Next, we will head to Khamlia, a village inhabited by people of Gnawa heritage, where you can listen to their powerful and spiritual music. In the late afternoon, we will begin the journey back to Errachidia, concluding your tour with a drop-off at the airport or your hotel.
