3 Days Tour from Errachidia To Marrakech

Day 1: Errachidia Airport → Merzouga

Your 3-day desert tour to Marrakech starts from Errachidia Airport, where we will be waiting to welcome you and start driving toward Merzouga. Fisrt stop will be at the Ziz valley, one of the longest valleys in the country. Finally, we reach Erg Chebbi to start our desert experience. You will ride the camels and cross the golden dunes.

On the way to the camp you will enjoy the magical sunset in a high dune. Once you reach your camp you will have a Moroccan dinner then enjoy a traditional show with the drums around the bonfire under a starry night.

Day 2: Merzouga → Rissani Market → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley

Highly recommended to start the day with a peaceful sunrise to feel the quiet and the tranquility of the desert. Then enjoy a tasty breakfast at the camp before heading back to the town either with the camels or 4×4. Today we will have about 5 hours to drive towards Dades gorge. If today is Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday we will visit an old local market in Rissani, An active market where the locals sell their products including spices and vegetables.

After that we will pass by Erfoud which is famous for fossils and minerals. The drive continues through the Berber villages until we reach the Todra valley, a stunning valley with old kasbahs where the tribes used to live. 15 minutes after that we reach Todra gorge where you will have a walk to enjoy this magical place. Next we will have some stops at the Dades valley for panoramic views before reaching your Riad at the Dades gorge.

Day 3: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Benhaddou → High Atlas → Marrakech

Our final day of our 3-day desert tour from Errachidia to Marrakech begins with a drive through the fragrant Rose Valley towards Ouarzazate, the cinematic capital of Morocco. Here, you can visit the famous Atlas Film Studios, the biggest one in Africa. The journey then leads to a UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village of earthen clay, where they filmed many international movies and Tv shows including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

The drive continues to Marrakech through the spectacular ascent over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260m). You will stop at panoramic viewpoints and pass through charming Berber villages before descending towards the vibrant city of Marrakech, where our 3 days tour from Errachidia to Marrakech ends.
